Bell Ringers
There are 6 bells in the tower, ranging from 3cwt to 12cwt, some of which date back to the 16th century.
The bells are rung before most Sunday services, for practise on Monday evenings at 19:30 and for special events such as weddings.
The ringers are members of the Derby Diocesan Association of Church Bellringers (DDA) and the East Derbyshire & West Nottinghamshire Association of Church Bellringers (EDWNA). The younger ringers are in the Chesterfield District Young Ringers' Club.
Ringing activities include: visiting other local practice nights, attending association events including car treasure hunts, quiz nights and competitions, going on outings, ringing on holiday, ringing peals & quarter peals and having a great deal of fun!
All visitors and new recruits are made most welcome. If you are a visiting ringer, or just want to watch and/or have a taster lesson, please contact the Tower Captain (Sue Hall via contact us ).

Junior Church (Sunday School)
Perhap as a child you attended Sunday School and can remember certain Bible stories, songs etc. Junior Church is just what the title says, an opportunity for children from the age of 5 years to have time together with trained leaders to explore through story telling, art and craft, drama and song the themes of the day in a fun and friendly atmosphere that helps children to experience and touch God.
Junior Church meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month in The Schoolroom (next to Church) at 9.30 am.
The children then go into church at the point in the Parish Eucharist called The Peace. During their time in the service they will have the opportunity to share what they have been sharing and making during their time together.
For further details please contact the co-ordinator Mrs. Ingrid Stopher on 01246 568108 or just come along!

Little Lambs
We would be delighted if you could join us for this pre-school gathering of children, parents, carers and friends on the the 3rd Thursday of every month in The Schoolroom (which is next door to the Church). We start at 1.45pm and aim to finish at between 2.45 and 3pm.
At each session we sing the Little Lambs song, listen to a story, say a prayer, enjoy a craft activity and have refreshments. Seasonal themes over the last few months have included Noah's Ark, David and Goliath and New Life. We also have a picnic once a year as well as a special nativity play and Christmas party.
Our aim is to provide a Christian-based group for under-fives and their parent/carers in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
